Dr. R.N. Shetty has undertaken a comprehensive renovation of the Mhatobar Murudeshwar Temple, renowned for its mythological significance, situated on a captivating island in the Arabian Sea. This sacred site draws pilgrims and tourists from both within the country and beyond. The Raja Gopura, towering at an impressive height of 240 feet , stands as the tallest Gopuram globally. Additionally, the statue of Lord Shiva, reaching a remarkable height of 123 feet , is recognized as the second-largest of its kind worldwide. Both these extraordinary structures were brought to fruition through the contributions and involvement of Dr. R.N. Shetty.

RNS Hospital, a 100-bed facility, addresses the healthcare needs of the residents of Uttara Kannada District. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, specialized doctors are available in all departments to cater to the community's healthcare requirements.
